Melania Trump: Women accusing men should ‘show the evidence’

WASHINGTON (AP) — First lady Melania Trump says women who make accusations of sexual abuse “need to be heard” and supported, but so do men.

She says when there are accusations there needs to be “really hard evidence” and accusers should “show the evidence.”

Mrs. Trump was interviewed on her Kenya trip by ABC, which aired portions Wednesday on “Good Morning America.” Asked whether she supports the MeToo movement. Mrs. Trump said, “I support the women, and they need to be heard. We need to support them. And, you know, also men, not just women.”

President Donald Trump, accused of sexual assault by numerous women over the years, has said it’s “a scary time” for men facing allegations from years ago, as with Brett Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh denied those, as has Trump.

Just to show the world how insensitive my Christian government is and how it protects criminals and sets an impossible bar for victims, here are some comments from sexual assault survivors:

“People who say this have never been molested, proof? I was molested by a family member when I was 10 years old. I had no evidence, nor at that age did I know what evidence was or how to collect it. We were all alone. And there were no fluids left. I was afraid and I felt quilt. I did not say anything until I was 30 when I realized what was done to me was wrong.”

“Speaking of evidence, I’ve seen evidence Melania was paid in 1995 for a nude photo shoot while not having a work Visa. Back in 2016 Trump claimed Melania would have a press conference to show EVIDENCE her Visa documentation was in order and she didn’t commit Visa fraud. That press conference never happened. Just like everyone and everything about Trump. The EVIDENCE OR PROOF is extremely selective based on convenience.”

“In most criminal proceedings, eye-witness accounts count as hard evidence.”

“I’m not sure what evidence people expect to see. When I was assaulted, there was no “evidence” except for the metaphorical scars left on my brain. Because of that assault I don’t enjoy you-know-what. (If I put it in the post the post will be deleted.) I’ve had only one of the “ultimate” (another you-know-what).”

“Melania Trump: Women accusing men should ‘show the evidence'”…yeah, because the first thing on a woman’s mind while being assaulted is to gather evidence.

If she needs proof, ask Ivana, what she meant in her original divorce statement. When she said that Donald Trump raped her.
