Police brutality and the use of excessive force, including police beatings, unjustified shootings and the use of dangerous restraint techniques to subdue suspects are as American as apple pie. We have given them every benefit of the doubt, every chance to reform, we can not in good conscience continue to wait and hope. The time is now, we must act. They won’t listen until we make some noise.
POLICE STEAL MORE THAN CROOKS DO…
Last year there was a total of 5 billion dollars in money and assets seized as a result of civil forfeiture nationwide. Whereas the total amount Americans lost as result of criminal theft was only 3.5 billion dollars. Police agencies took about 30% more than freelance crooks. And in almost all of those cases, no charges were ever filed and the property was never evidenced as having been related to a crime.
Should We Trust Police Officers?
Are police officers allowed to lie to you? Yes the Supreme Court has ruled that police officers can lie to the American people. Police officers are trained at lying, twisting words and being manipulative. Police officers and other law enforcement agents are very skilled at getting information from people. So don’t try to “out smart” a police officer and don’t try being a “smooth talker” because you will lose! If you can keep your mouth shut, you just might come out ahead more than you expected.
